(G)I-DLE Confirmed To Male Comeback With New Album In Mid-January 2021
Cube Entertainment said on December 9 that, "(G)I-DLE is preparing for an album with the aim of making a comeback in mid-January. Please show a lot of interest and look forward to it."
The latest report comes about five months after their single 'DUMDi DUMDi' was released in August. Global fans are paying keen attention to again see (G)I-DLE, who have been loved for their unique music and concepts every comeback.
(G)I-DLE made their presence known by winning the 'Best Emotive Award' at the '2020 Asia Artist Awards', which was held last November.
In May this year, (G)I-DLE released their third mini-album 'I trust' with the title track 'Oh my god'. In particular, the group reached a milestone with 'I trust', topping iTunes Top Album Chart in 61 regions around the world and entering five U.S. Billboard charts. With 'DUMDi DUMDi' released in August, they have proved themselves as a global trend group by topping the iTunes Top Song Chart in 42 regions around the world and winning six domestic music show trophies. Expectations are also high on what record the upcoming album will set.
