On October 12, Hong Yoo Kyung posted a handwritten letter on Instagram to announce that she would be getting married on Saturday. She wrote, “I have something important to share with all of you who have continuously supported me, which is why I’m writing this message. Though it has been a relatively short period, I’ve met someone who has constantly given me unwavering assurance and made me want to spend the rest of my life with him. As a result, I’ll be tying the knot this coming Saturday.”
She added, “I understand that this may come as a bit of a sudden news. I’m nervous, thinking it might catch you off guard. Nevertheless, I wanted to share this joyous news with a sense of gratitude for all those who have watched over me and cherished me until now.”
Hong Yoo Kyung concluded, “I would appreciate it if you could continue to bless my new beginning and watch over me with love. We’ll live a beautiful life while being considerate of one another for the rest of our lives. Thank you.”

In response to the announcement, Apink’s Jung Eun Ji extended her congratulations with warm comments, writing, “Let’s meet up more often after your wedding,” and, “So pretty…”
Hong Yoo Kyung debuted with Apink in 2011 and left the group in 2013 to focus on her studies. Nevertheless, she has maintained a close relationship with her former teammates, as evidenced by her recent sharing of photos with Jung Eun Ji.
