Is EXO's Baekhyun Santa Claus? Because he came bearing gifts after releasing his new single 'Amusement Park' and announcing his first solo online concert.
Before releasing his upcoming solo Japanese mini-album next year, EXO member Baekhyun delighted his fans after releasing not one but two gifts today, December 21.
On YouTube, SM Entertainment uploaded the performance video of Baekhyun's new single, “Amusement Park,” which is described to be a medium tempo RnB song that shows the best of the K-pop idol's vocals accompanied by piano and guitar sounds.
The 4-minute music video shows Lotte World magically transforming into Baekhyun's personal stage as he sings the track with a live band.
The song's lyrics express a lover's emotions and likens the feeling of love to an amusement park's colorful landscape.
In a press release by SM Entertainment, it said that the track would be a “special year-end gift for the fans.”

Earlier today, the EXO member also announced that he would be having his first solo online concert titled “Light” on January 3, 2021, which will be held on Naver's Beyond Live.
Ticket selling will start on December 24, at exactly 2 p.m., Philippine Standard Time.
In November, Baekhyun announced that he would be making his very first solo debut in Japan with a love-themed album that features six new tracks, namely “Get You Alone,” “Addicted,” “WHIPPIN,” “Drown,” “Disappeared,” and Stars.”
According to reports, each song will be based on love and represent the different sides of the singer like never before. The album will also have limited edition versions that come with certain perks, including photo cards, posters, a lyric booklet, and so much more.
While this is his first solo Japanese venture, EXO had already released Japanese tracks before, like “Electric Kiss,” which received a gold certification for amassing more than 100,000 copies in under 10 days.
Baekhyun recently received Best Male Artist Award at the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) for his second consecutive year. He also emerged as one of the Top 10 artists for the Melon Music Awards.
Baekhyun made his debut as a member of EXO in 2012 and began making his career as a soloist in 2019 with his album, “City Lights.”
Early this year, he released his second solo album titled “Delight,” which sold more than one million copies, making him the first solo artist since 2001 to achieve such a feat.
“Amusement Lights” will soon be available on various music streaming sites.
