BTS has become the first Korean group ever to go quintuple platinum in the United States!
On May 9 local time, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) officially awarded BTS’s 2020 smash hit “Dynamite” a quintuple platinum certification for over 5 million units sold.
“Dynamite” is the first song by a Korean group ever to achieve the feat in the United States—and only the second by a Korean artist, following PSY’s “Gangnam Style.”
Congratulations to BTS on their historic achievement!
