On November 11, BOL4's agency Shofar Music posted an announcement on their official website, officially revealing that Ahn Ji Young will rest for the time being and won't participate in any activity due to her mental health problem.
Below is the full text of Shofar Music's statement:
"We want to inform you of our official position regarding the health condition and future activities of our artist, Bolbbalgan4.
Since the first half of this year, Ji Young has been visiting professional medical institutions due to frequent health deterioration and psychological anxiety, and has been receiving continuous treatment through psychotherapy and medication.
However, the recent increased anxiety has made it difficult for her to carry out activities with the single 'Filmlet' normally.
Therefore, we have decided to let her take sufficient rest, and focus on the treatment, considering the artist's health as a top priority, and she will temporarily postpone her activities until her health recovers.
We apologize for causing concern to our fans with the sudden news, and we ask you to refrain from making any assumptions or misunderstandings regarding Ji Young's health and activities.
We will do our best to help Ji-young recover her health, and please give her warm support until she return to her healthy self."
