The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) has announced its nominees!

On August 8 local time, MTV officially revealed the nominations for this year’s award ceremony—and multiple K-pop groups made the list.
BLACKPINK snagged nominations in four different categories, making them the most-nominated group this year. The girl group was nominated for Best Choreography, Best Art Direction, Best Editing, and Best K-Pop (all for their hit single “Pink Venom“).
Meanwhile, TXT scored two nominations this year: one for Push Performance of the Year and one for Best K-Pop (both for their latest title track “Sugar Rush Ride“).
This year’s nominees for Best K-Pop are aespa’s “Girls,” BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom,” FIFTY FIFTY’s “Cupid,” SEVENTEEN’s “Super,” Stray Kids’ “S-Class,” and TXT’s “Sugar Rush Ride.”
