BLACKPINK Recalls They Only Heard the Final Version of 'WHISTLE' While Filming the Music Video

On August 8, BLACKPINK held a live stream to celebrate their fifth debut anniversary. BLACKPINK covered many different topics during the live stream and reminisced about the past five years they spent as a group. As they spoke, the members surprised BLINKs by revealing they only heard the final version of "WHISTLE" while filming the music video.

Lisa shared that BLACKPINK had started filming the music video before hearing the final version of "WHISTLE." The four members did not hear the studio version of the debut song until they nearly finished filming the end of the music video. Lisa said, "The scene with the chandelier on the ceiling. It wasn't until this scene was filmed that we heard all of our songs."
