Big Hit Entertainment's chairman and CEO Bang Si Hyuk will appear as the general producer for Mnet's new reality show 'I-LAND'.
According to Belift Lab on May 19, Bang Si Hyuk will play a key role - the general producer who discovers and develop the next-generation K-pop artists in 'I-LAND'.
'I-LAND' is the first project of Belift Lab, a joint venture established by CJ ENM and Big Hit in March last year. It is a reality show featuring the process of creating the next generation of K-pop artist, which will air on Mnet from June 26. It is expected that a new type of broadcast will be created, by combining Big Hit's know-how in producing artists and CJ ENM's ability in producing content.
As Bang Si Hyuk is the one who led to the worldwide success of "Global Superstar" BTS, keen attention is being paid to what philosophy and direction the program will based on. Along with Bang Si Hyuk, top artist producers will also join the program.
"We will help participants with unlimited potential develop themselves and grow their capabilities as artists," the Chairman said through Big Hit.
