Boy group ATEEZ is continuing their "on-tact" communication with fans that stands out with the new ONLINE ATINY PARTY ‘CRESCENT’.
"On-tact" is a concept that adds "on" to "untact," which refers to non-face-to-face communication, through online platforms. As social distancing is now a part of life due to COVID-19, a new way of communicating online has become a hot topic.
Recently, ATEEZ announced on Naver V LIVE that they will hold ATEEZ ONLINE ATINY PARTY 'CRESCENT' at 5 PM KST on May 30. Named 'Party', they stressed the meaning of providing a place for ATEEZ members and fans to communicate and enjoy each other beyond the concept of a simple fan meeting.
This is not the first time ATEEZ has done this. The members often turn on live broadcasts when they miss their fans while composing songs in the studio or during dance training in the practice room. Like broadcasts under the theme of 'Reform' or 'Home Camping', many live sessions were announced in advance, but surprise gift-like broadcasts and "selfie throw" are also welcomed by fans.
In addition, the company is steadily uploading their own contents, which show the colors of each of the eight members, including when they're visiting restaurants, doing ASMR, and cooking, through the official YouTube channel.
This method was soon proved effective. ATEEZ's official YouTube channel recently released a Gold Play Button for surpassing 1 million subscribers, and is running toward 1.15 million, while their official Twitter account, which used to have the same 1 million followers at the same time, also rose sharply to 1.1 million.
An official said, "Physical encounters are difficult, so we are trying to find a different way to get in touch with each other. We're going to use it as an opportunity to build a bond with our fans while continuing to communicate more actively online."
ATEEZ ONLINE ATINY PARTY 'CRESCENT' will be available on Naver V LIVE's ATEEZ channel at 5 PM on May 30.
