aespa was the only K-pop artist to make The New York Times’ lists of the “Best Songs of 2023”!
The New York Times’ music critics have published their year-end lists of their personal picks for the best songs of 2023, and aespa landed a spot in one of their roundups.
Critic Jon Pareles included aespa’s single “Better Things” on his list at No. 13, writing, “Cowbells, handclaps and piano chords drive ‘Better Things,’ a K-pop kiss off with ingeniously cascading vocal harmonies and absolutely no regrets.”
