On April 25, the Korea Entertainment Producer’s Association (KEPA) officially announced that the 2022 Dream Concert would take place on Saturday, June 18 in Seoul.
Dream Concert, which first began in 1995, is an annual large-scale concert in Korea that brings together popular singers for a fun music festival. In 2020 and 2021, the event was held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but with South Korea recently lifting most of its COVID-19 restrictions, the 2022 Dream Concert will be welcoming back in-person concertgoers.
KEPA president Im Baek Woon remarked, “We will do our utmost to prepare a concert that can breathe new life into our nation’s concert industry, which has been dampened recently [by the COVID-19 pandemic], and to provide the many K-pop fans all over the world who have been anxiously waiting for Dream Concert with meaningful and touching memories that can last a long time.”
Stay tuned for this year’s lineup!
