The upcoming second season of “Yumi’s Cells” shared an intriguing sneak peek of Kim Go Eun and GOT7’s Jinyoung!

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Yumi’s Cells” tells the story of an ordinary office worker named Yumi – from the point of view of the many brain cells in her head controlling her every thought, feeling, and action. Kim Go Eun plays the titular role of Yumi, an ordinary woman who struggles with expressing her feelings.
In the first season, Yumi and her charming co-worker Yoo Babi (played by Jinyoung) were just friends. However, newly released stills hint that their relationship is evolving into something more. There’s a subtle atmosphere between them, and every eye contact they make amps up curiosity and anticipation for their romance. The two are closer than before, and the way Yoo Babi looks at Yumi is especially heart-fluttering.
In the last season, Yumi matured through her relationship and breakup with Goo Woong (Ahn Bo Hyun), and she took on a new challenge after gaining the courage to do so from Yoo Babi. The new season will depict the story of Yumi’s love and dreams.
Kim Go Eun and Jinyoung showed perfect synchronization with their characters in order to faithfully portray their relationship changes in detail. Kim Go Eun will depict realistic acting by meticulously expressing Yumi’s emotions, and Jinyoung has come back with upgraded charms that will inspire excitement from the viewers.
The drama’s producers commented, “The changed relationship and emotions between Yumi and Yoo Babi will make hearts flutter. Please look forward to the synergy between Kim Go Eun and Jinyoung. They will show a new kind of chemistry from the previous season.”
“Yumi’s Cells” will premiere on June 10.
