Upcoming Netflix K-Drama The Glory has confirmed its main cast members and it will be headlined by Song Hye Kyo and Lee Do Hyun.
Netflix series The Glory will be a K-Drama that tells the story about a woman whose soul and confidence was broken during her childhood due to bullying, so she seeks to exact her revenge as an adult. Her bully gets married and has a child, and once the child is old enough to attend school, the woman becomes the child’s school teacher and begins to get her revenge.
Song Hye Kyo will play the role of Moon Dongeun, the victim of school violence and wants to seek revenge.
Lee Do Hyun will play the role of Joo Yojeong, a man hiding a secret and a complicated internal personal situation behind his good looks.
Lim Ji Yeon will play the role of Park Yeonjin, a former mastermind of school violence and a person who caused sleepless nights for others.
Yeom Hye Ran will play the role of Kang Hyunnam, another victim of violence. She will to whatever it takes to protect her child from domestic violence and offers her help to Moon Dongeun.
Park Sung Hoon will play the role of Jeon Jaejun, another school bully who helped Park Yeonjin ruin Moon Dongeun’s life.
Jeong Seong Il will play the role of Ha Doyoung, Park Yeonjin’s husband and CEO of a construction company.
The Glory is written by Kim Eun Sook, well known for her numerous hit K-Dramas including The King: Eternal Monarch, Mr. Sunshine, Goblin, and Descendants of the Sun. The lead director will be Ahn Gil Ho, famed for Happiness, Memories of the Alhambra, and Stranger. No broadcast date has been announced yet.
