On December 28, one netizen said on an online community, "Wow, the poster for 'Island' came out and their synchronization [with the webtoon] is amazing." Here, the netizen included the individual character posters of the lead actors including Kim Nam Gil, Lee Da Hee, Cha Eun Woo, and Sung Joon. Each of the character posters showed the original webtoon images of the characters, on which the actors' visuals were also revealed through ripped pages of the webtoon drawings. Netizens were able to get a side-by-side view of each character's webtoon drawing and their respective actors, which surprised many with the nearly perfect synchronization.
Meanwhile, 'Island' will premiere on December 30 KST.
