“Sh**ting Stars“
“Sh**ting Stars” is about the people who work behind the scenes in the entertainment industry cleaning up the messes created by the stars. The drama depicts the realistic story of people who stand behind the celebrities and shed blood, sweat, and tears to make them shine like stars in the sky. The romantic comedy stars Lee Sung Kyung as Oh Han Byul, the head of the PR team at Starforce Entertainment, and Kim Young Dae as top star Gong Tae Sung.
“Woori the Virgin”
A remake of the hit American show “Jane the Virgin” (which was itself based on a Venezuelan telenovela), “Woori the Virgin” tells the story of a woman named Oh Woo Ri (Im Soo Hyang) who has been strictly maintaining her chastity before marriage but winds up pregnant after an accidental artificial insemination during a medical exam. Sung Hoon plays Raphael, the CEO of a large company and the unexpected father of Woo Ri’s child, while Shin Dong Wook plays Woo Ri’s boyfriend Lee Kang Jae.
“Yumi’s Cells 2”
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Yumi’s Cells” tells the story of an ordinary office worker named Yumi—from the point of view of the many brain cells in her head controlling her every thought, feeling, and action. Kim Go Eun plays the titular role of Yumi, an ordinary woman who struggles with expressing her feelings, and Jinyoung stars as her charming co-worker Yoo Babi. While the first season focused on Yumi’s love story with Goo Woong (Ahn Bo Hyun), the second season revolves around Yumi’s romance with Yoo Babi.
“Eve”
“Eve” is about a chaebol‘s 2 trillion won (approximately $1.7 billion) divorce lawsuit that shocks the entire nation. Unbeknownst to the public, the lawsuit is the result of a carefully calculated revenge scheme 13 years in the making. Seo Ye Ji stars as Lee Ra El, the woman at the center of the divorce lawsuit, while Park Byung Eun stars as LY Group CEO Kang Yoon Kyum. Lee Sang Yeob is Seo Eun Pyung, the youngest member of the National Assembly, and Yoo Sun plays Kang Yoon Kyum’s wife Han So Ra.
“Why Her?”
“Why Her?” is a mystery romance drama starring Seo Hyun Jin as the Oh Soo Jae, the youngest ace partner at TK Law Firm who is a cold character with a flaming desire to win and fearless self-righteousness that makes her opponents kneel before her. Hwang In Yeop plays Gong Chan, a law school student with a painful past who would do anything to protect Oh Soo Jae. Heo Joon Ho is TK Law Firm’s chairman Choi Tae Guk, and Bae In Hyuk stars as his son Choi Yoon Sang.
