On September 23, SEVENTEEN’s album distributor YG PLUS announced that the group’s 11th mini album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” had achieved an impressive total of 5,206,718 stock pre-orders.
In addition to smashing SEVENTEEN’s personal record of 4.67 million stock pre-orders (set by their previous mini album “FML” earlier this year), the figure marks a new record for the highest stock pre-orders of any K-pop album in history.
The number of stock pre-orders is the amount of album stock that is produced prior to an album’s release. The figure is the estimated demand calculated using various factors, including how many albums were pre-ordered by fans.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN’s record-breaking new mini album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” will drop on October 23 at 6 p.m. KST.
Congratulations to SEVENTEEN!
