On November 30, reports revealed the two actors are set to star as the leads of the new series. Park Shin Hye's label SALT Entertainment responded, "Park Shin Hye received the offer to star in 'Doctor Slump', and she's reviewing the offer in a positive light," and Hyungsik's agency P&Studio stated, "He's optimistically reviewing the offer to star in 'Doctor Slump'."
'Doctor Slump' is a romantic-comedy about doctors who are going through a slump in their lives and live in a rooftop house after quitting their professions. If cast, the drama would mark Park Shin Hye and Hyungsik's first time co-starring since the 2013 series 'Heirs'. It would also be Park Shin Hye's first drama since she married Choi Tae Joon and welcomed a baby earlier this year.
