Unfortunately, despite the social media buzz and development of the romance between the lead stars, the viewership ratings continue to dip every episode.

The newest JTBC drama slightly drops to 1.173 percent from its recorded average rating of 1.253 percent in episode 2.

To recall, "Nevertheless" began with an acceptable viewership rating of 2.207 percent during their premiere but continues to decrease every week.

Despite the figures, there's no denying that several viewers are still hooked on the drama, surrounding the characters of Yoo Na Bi, played by Han So Hee, and Park Jae Eon, portrayed by Song Kang.

Nevertheless Episode 3 Highlights: Did Park Jae Eon Ghosted Yoo Na Bi?

After sharing a passionate kiss, Yoo Na Bi is baffled by Jae Eon's action and gets confused why he suddenly turns cold and stops messaging her.

With this, she thinks that he might be just flirting and toying with her feelings.

Following the sleepover, her friends Yoon Sol (Lee Ho Jung) and Seo Ji Wan (Yoon Seo Ah) sensed that something is up between the two.

Sol then pointed out that he still preferred him over Na Bi's cheating ex-boyfriend despite Jae Eon's reputation.

The Return of the Ex

Speaking of exes, Nevertheless episode 3 featured Jae Eon's former girlfriend Yoon Seol Ah (Lee Yeol Eum).

While ignoring Na Bi, he meets Seol Ah at the airport, who, by the way, looked stunningly beautiful and all dolled up.

"Welcome," he said, to which she replied, "You've gotten more handsome.

In the next scene, Na Bi saw Jae Eon finishing his sculpture in the outdoor workshop as she stares at him.

"I hate to admit it, but I can't take my eyes off him once he comes into my sight," Na Bi told herself. He then stopped after hearing a phone call. Na Bi heard Seol A's name and wondered who she was.

Although she feels devastated and surprised, Na Bi decides to follow Jae Eon to find out whom he was meeting.

Right then and there, she saw how Park Jae Eon was comfortable around Seol A. She realized that her relationship with him was nothing, and it was her that Jae Eon had chosen.

At the convenience store, Kim Eun Han (Lee Jung Ha), a freshman, recognized Na Bi. During their small talk, he expressed that he liked her and even asked for her phone number.

Interestingly, Jae Eon sees the two at a distance and starts to get jealous.

Seol A, who was with Park Jae Eon at the time, teased him and said, "How are your butterflies doing" to which he shared that he will set them free soon.

She smiled and thinks that he is into Yoo Na Bi, adding, "You found a new butterfly, even her name is Na Bi."

It appears that the butterflies, which the two are referring to, are Park Jae Eon's flings and hint at the possibility of pursuing his feelings for the senior art student.

Yoo Na Bi Confronts Park Jae Eon

Nevertheless episode 3 illustrates Park Jae Eon's jealousy towards the budding friendship between Na Bi and Kim Eun Han.

During their conversation, the junior art student appeared bossy and rude around the two. This prompted Na Bi to confront him and tried to push him away.

After Na Bi and Eun Han's friendly date, she visited her at the flea market but was surprised by what she discovered--Eun Han is dating another woman.

This made Na Bi feel even more embarrassed, knowing that Park Jae Eon was watching them.

After a devastating situation, Yoo Na Bi returns to her loft feeling slightly ill. She then got a phone call from Jae Eon and asked her if she wanted to meet him, but before she could answer, her phone died.

Feeling a bit under the weather, she left the house to buy medicine, but she saw an ambulance outside her building as she returned home.

It appears that Par Jae Eon called 911 after he got worried about the sudden disconnection.

Na Bi told him that he overreacted, but he explained that he was just worried. She then advised Jae Eon to go home since she also needed to get some rest and sleep; however, he chose to take care of Na Bi.
