Mnet’s new hip hop reality music show “Good Girl” has revealed its first teaser!
“Good Girl” features Korean female hip hop and R&B artists Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon, Ailee, Cheetah, Jamie (formerly Park Jimin), Sleeq, CLC’s Yeeun, KARD’s Jiwoo, Queen WA$ABII, Yunhway, and Lee Young Ji. These artists will be put on a team together and will complete quests by performing and competing against a team designated by the show in order to win a prize.
In the teaser, the artists gather for the first time, saying ambitious lines like, “The time has come,” and, “If you prepare lots of prize money, I’ll take it all.” The narrator describes the cast members as wild beasts who unite in the jungle that is the broadcasting station. At first, Yeeun is depicted as an innocent deer who’s new to the jungle, but she says, “What’s the use in talking so much. I’ll do it properly,” before short clips of the cast members’ charismatic stages are shown.
The show’s producers shared, “The battle between musicians who have to take the broadcasting station’s money will be portrayed in a competitive but refreshing way. It will be like watching beasts at the top of the food chain. Unlike ‘Unpretty Rapstar,’ the female musicians will show lots of different conflicts as well as teamwork in their process of becoming one team. Please look forward to seeing the artists release their musical talents on stage through the difficult quests.”
