In the July issue of The Star Magazine, Lee Joon Gi showed various charms on the streets of Macau, sharing his thoughts about acting career and upcoming drama 'Flower of Evil'.
In the released photo, Lee Joon Gi completed a sweet boyfriend-like photo of him wearing a clean or dandy suit against the backdrop of the sea.
In particular, local people and tourists from all over the world recognized Lee Joon Gi wherever he went at the photoshoot, further realizing his high popularity as a Hallyu star.
In an interview after the photoshoot, the actor said, "This photoshoot is also memorable. It's already been a precious memory as if I've been on a trip", he said. "Since March, I've been working on the drama 'Flower of Evil'." I didn't do anything special because I usually focus only on filming when a new work begins".
The actor is returning to the small screen in about two years with the drama "Flower of Evil". "These days, I feel excited and satisfied with doing my job as an actor, challenging new things, enjoying myself in the field and creating a harmonious scene. I can't guarantee the result, but I try to enjoy the current process faithfully and use it as a new nourishment. I hope you support us a lot," he said, adding that he was nervous before the drama airs.
When asked about his worries while filming these days, he shared, "I'm most concerned about the merits of this work and how I can convey the flow of emotions of the character to the viewers. Especially in this work, I try to find details because I have to express difficult and unfamiliar feelings in a loving relationship and hide them."
Lee Joon Gi is often considered a role model for junior actors due to his outstanding acting skills and personality. Asked what he wanted to say to them, he said, "Pride and sincerity as actors are what everyone in the community is building together. Actors have really good energy, and I think that energy can create a better influence than I thought," he said frankly.
Lastly, "I want to meet with fans as soon as possible and laugh and enjoy together with them," he said. "I always thank to fans and the public for their generous support and love. I will always do my best to become a good actor who gives happiness through good works".
