On June 12, Sports Chosun reported that Hyeri had received an offer to star as the female lead of the upcoming drama “Heart Attack Roommate”
Following reports, Hyeri’s agency Creative group ING revealed, “Hyeri received the offer to star in the new drama ‘Heart Attack Roommate,’ and she is reviewing the offer.”
The upcoming fantasy romance drama is based on a currently serializing webtoon of the same name. 'Heart Attack Roommate' (literally 'The Roommate Who Makes My Liver Drop') revolves around a female college student accidentally swallows the marble of a male nine-tailed fox and romantic stories about two main characters.
Previously, it was revealed that actor Jang Ki Yong was in talks to star as the drama's male lead. On June 12, Hyeri's agency Creative Group ING said to media outlets, "Hyeri is currently considering appearing in 'Heart Attack Roommate'.
The upcoming drama will be helmed by director Baek Seung Ryong, who previously worked on “Pegasus Market,” and it is in talks to premiere via tvN in the second half of the year.
