According to Nielsen Korea's latest report on May 15, the gripping 10th episode of JTBC's 'Doctor Cha,' which aired the previous day, achieved an astounding 17.958% viewer rating among households nationwide.
This remarkable achievement not only surpassed the previous highest viewership rating of 16.181% set by episode 8 but also stands as JTBC's highest record for the year 2023.
In a remarkable feat, 'Doctor Cha' has now surpassed the highly acclaimed drama 'Itaewon Class,' which held the fourth-highest rating in JTBC's history with a viewership rating of 16.5%.
In the recent episode, the storyline delved into the revelation of Chief Surgeon Seo In Ho's (played by Kim Byung Chul) drunken confession, disclosing his marriage to Jung Sook.
