The '2020 Blue Dragon Film Awards' ceremony was held today (February 9) to honor movies of various genres as well as actors, actresses and production teams.

The '41st Blue Dragon Film Awards' was held at Incheon Paradise City at 9 PM KST on February 9. This year's awards ceremony was scheduled to be held in December of last year, but it was postponed due to the spread of COVID-19. The event was hosted by Kim Hye Soo and Yoo Yeon Seok.
Since its first hosting in 1963, the 'Blue Dragon Film Awards' has become a representative film festival of South Korea through fair progress and strict screening. The secret lies in the screening on the day of the awards ceremony. Each year, only a few hours before the awards ceremony is held, the winners are determined. Judges submit their cell phones to the organizers in advance, just like the members of the CSAT, and the results of the screening will be sealed until just before the winners go up to the stage. For this reason, candidates also attend the awards ceremony without knowing the results of the screening.
