Actress Gong Hyo Jin is marrying singer Kevin Oh on October 11.
According to news reports, the actress will be marrying her singer fiancé, ten years her junior, in New York. The ceremony is said to be a small wedding taking place with close family and friends in attendance.
News reports reveal that Gong Hyo Jin is currently filming for her upcoming drama Ask The Stars featuring Lee Min Ho and has asked permission from the production team to fly over to the United States. After the wedding, she will be focusing on finishing filming for her drama.
Many fans are welcoming the union between one of Korea’s most beloved actresses and the singer-songwriter. The two have long been rumored to be dating due to Gong Hyo Jin accidentally uploading a photo of Kevin Oh to her Instagram.
The couple confirmed they were dating in August. According to Kevin Oh, at the time, the couple had been dating for two years. Gong Hyo Jin also made news when she was the recipient of Son Ye Jin‘s bouquet at her wedding.
Kevin Oh is a Korean-American songwriter hailing from Long Island, New York. The singer first gained popularity through his appearance on the 2015 Mnet‘s survival show Superstar K7. The singer also placed fifth on JTBC‘s survival show Super Band.
Gong Hyo Jin is one of Korea’s most acclaimed actors. The actor has starred in a string of classics, including, It’s Alright, This Is Love, Don’t Dare To Dream, Pasta, and When The Camellia Blooms.
