One of the most satisfying and healing aspects of a K-drama is seeing the tight-knit squad of friends who are willing to go above and beyond to be there for each other.

It’s uplifting and heartwarming, and we can only long to find a squad just like one. And while we already visited some of the amazing K-drama girl squads in the past, here are six chaotic K-drama friend groups we wish we could be a part of!

1. “Work Later, Drink Now”

This series stars Apink‘s Jung Eun Ji, Han Sun Hwa, and Lee Sun Bin as three women who love to get together and unwind by having drinks after work. The three all have various stresses and hardships that they experience, but they are able to lean on each other and look to each other for support.

The antics between the three leading ladies are so hilarious and loved that there is even going to be a second season. Seeing the downright humorous way in which they go about de-stressing at the end of a long day is relatable in many ways but also very healing. The frantic ways in which they try and help each other and the even crazier ways in which they fall in love, specifically Ahn So Hee (Lee Sun Bin), are so enjoyable to watch. We can only long to be a part of this girl power squad!

2. “Twenty Five, Twenty One”

“Twenty Five, Twenty One” stars Kim Tae Ri as Na Hee Do, a high school student who desperately wants to become the world’s greatest fencer. She meets Baek Yi Jin (Nam Joo Hyuk) whose family goes bankrupt, forcing them to live apart. The two lean on each other for happiness and advice.

The hilarious squad in this particular series involves Na Hee Do, Baek Yi Jin, Go Yu Rim (WJSN’s Bona), Moon Ji Woong (Choi Hyun Wook), and Ji Seung Wan (Lee Joo Myung). These characters all have different and relatable hardships that they go through, but somehow they are able to come together and be there for each other. Their individual personalities and charms really make the atmosphere silly and at times pretty chaotic, but they have a heartwarming connection that will put a smile on your face.

3. “Hospital Playlist”

Jo Jung Suk, Yoo Yeon Seok, Jung Kyung Ho, Kim Dae Myung, and Jeon Mi Do star in the “Hospital Playlist” series as a group of five doctors who have been friends since medical school. The five of them all work at the same hospital, Yulje Medical Center. The story follows their friendship as well as the romance and patients that they deal with day to day. They also happen to form a band together.

When you have the cast of “Hospital Playlist” together, you can guarantee that there will be laughs, tears, and a lot of roasting. The friendship that this particular squad has is so deep, reflective, and a little bit out of control at times, but it is a squad that we can only aspire to be a part of. This group is willing to do anything to help a friend in need, but they are also quick to be the first to make fun of each other, which makes them that much more entertaining.

4. “Vincenzo”

Vincenzo Cassano (Song Joong Ki) is an Italian lawyer and Mafia consigliere who was adopted and raised in Italy. He returns to Korea to tie up some loose ends pertaining to some gold that is being kept underground in Geumga Plaza. He meets Hong Cha Young (Jeon Yeo Bin) and her father Hong Yoo Chan (Yoo Jae Myung), and they are able to form a strong bond with Vincenzo.

When you think chaotic K-drama squad, the Geumga Plaza crew definitely fits the bill. You have an Italian chef who can’t cook Italian food, owners of a tailor shop, a lawyer, a mafia consigliere, and even some aspiring zombie actors. This chaotic but reliable group of misfits with their hearts of gold is the world’s answer to support and loyalty. There is no chill when it comes to the antics that Geumga Plaza engages in, especially with Vincenzo and Cha Young needing their help.

5. “Crash Landing On You”

In “Crash Landing On You,” Hyun Bin stars as the charming North Korean soldier Ri Jung Hyuk, and Son Ye Jin plays the beautiful and charismatic Yoon Se Ri. In a freak accident while paragliding, Yoon Se Ri stumbles into North Korean territory where she meets Ri Jung Hyuk. He takes it upon himself to watch over her while he figures out a way to get her back to South Korea.

One of the best parts about this series, besides seeing the genuine chemistry between the OTP, is the lovable and comical squad of North Korean soldiers. Their energy and chemistry bring another level to the storyline that viewers cannot get enough of. How amazing is it seeing them try to fit in with the Seoulites? It brings endless laughter and delight seeing all the men bond with each other.

6. “Itaewon Class”

In “Itaewon Class,” Park Sae Roy’s (Park Seo Joon) father is tragically killed in a hit-and-run accident, Sae Roy is expelled from school, and he is sentenced to jail for three years. All this tragedy happens as a result of one family that owns the biggest restaurant chain in Korea. After getting out of jail, Sae Roy swears that he will get revenge and decides to open up his own restaurant called Dan Bam.

The squad of misfits who work for Sae Roy in his Dan Bam restaurant all have very different personal issues that they are trying to work through. What makes this particular squad so unique is that despite their individual struggles, they all have the common goal of helping their friend out. Mind you, the ways in which they achieve this goal are far from smooth sailing as they face a lot of obstacles as well as heartbreak, but their friendship is something we can only long to be a part of!
