Girl group WEKI MEKI is the next name to join the June’s comeback race.
According to news1 on May 26, Weki Meki is working on a new mini album with the aim of releasing it in mid June. The members have already finished recording the new songs and shooting the photos, and are currently putting the last finishing touch to the album and preparing for their comeback.
“Weki Meki is preparing for a comeback in mid-June,” an official from Fantagio Music, the girls’ agency, also confirmed the news.
This means the group will make a comeback to the K-pop scene more than four months after their digital single ‘DAZLE DAZZLE’ released in February. In particular, Weki Meki is going to join the June’s massive comeback lineup, following TWICE, BLACKPINK and RED VELVET unit, raising expectations for a hotter girl group competition.
Attention is already focusing on what new song they will perform in the summer of 2020, after pursuing the concept of ‘Teen Crush’.
