Seungkwan from SEVENTEEN will overcome his ankle injury and participate in the group's upcoming online fan meeting with his fellow members.
In a post on SEVENTEEN's official Twitter account on August 13, the group's agency Pledis Entertainment said, "Seungkwan, who suffered an ankle injury last month, is currently receiving treatment and rehabilitation after surgery and is very focused on recovering. As we watched the artist's improvement and recovery, we continued to discuss with Seungkwan about whether to let him join the 4TH FAN MEETING. The artist himself decided to participate in the performance with a minimal level of performances and agreed to participate without any stress."
They added, "We apologize for making you guys so nervous and will do our best to help SeungKwan recover in the best way."
Earlier, Pledis announced that the idol suffered a ruptured left ankle ligament during a dance practice and underwent surgery on April 18. At that time, the agency said that SEVENTEEN will continue their career with 12 members.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN's online fan meeting 'SEVENTEEN in Carat Land' will be broadcast live online on the community platform Weverse on August 30.
