MBC will release a new drama called "Kairos" (literal title) starring actress Nam Gyu Ri, alongside Shin Sung Rok.
The drama is described as a "time-crossing fantasy thriller" with the story about Kim Seo Jin (played by Shin Sung Rok), a man who falls into anguish after his daughter was kidnapped, and Han Ae Ri (played by Lee Se Young), a woman who is searching for her missing mother who had one month living in the past time from the time dimension that Kim Seo Jin is living in.
Nam Gyu Ri is confirmed to portray a violinist named Kang Hyun Chae and also Kim Seo Jin's wife. In the new photos revealed, her character is seen to be in two contrasting emotions, one is smiling peacefully and comfortable while in the other she is looking intense and nervous. However no matter which emotions she showcases, Nam Gyu Ri is still looking beautiful and goegeous as always.
Kang Hyun Chae has a dream to build a small but happy family with of her be loved ones but what she has always dreamed of is not as she wanted when her little daughter is kidnapped. The baby girl is described as a major character who adds more tension and drama factors to main plot in Kairos' development.
Nam Gyu Ri is a South Korean singer and actress. She was the leader of the Korean female trio, SeeYa. In 2009, she had a contract dispute with the group's management company and left the group. Nam has also acted in movie and drama with two of her most popular projects are Death Bell and the 49 Days, starring alongside Lee Yo Won and Jung Il Woo.
