IU has donated ice vests to nurses who are struggling to prevent new coronavirus infections.
The Korea Nursing Association announced on the 31st that IU donated 4,600 ice vests worth 100 million won through the Community Chest of Korea.
The association plans to send donated ice vests to select clinics and medical institutions across the country for nurses suffering from the heat in protective clothing at the Corona 19 site. Since June, the association has been delivering cheering items necessary for the Corona 19 response to state-designated hospitals, dedicated hospitals, and selective clinics.
This is not the first time the singer-actress has donated to help support healthcare workers in the fight against COVID-19. She previously donated 200 million won (approximately $168,820) in February.
