BLACKPINK has reached another impressive YouTube milestone and becomes the 1st K-pop group MV to hit 1.1 billion views.
On March 24 at approximately 12 p.m. KST, the girl group’s music video for “DDU-DU DDU-DU” surpassed 1.1 billion views on YouTube. This is about one year, nine months, eight days, and 18 hours since its release on June 15, 2018 at 6 p.m. KST.
“DDU-DU DDU-DU” is only the third Korean music video to achieve the feat after PSY’s “”Gangnam Style” and “Gentleman,” and it is the first K-pop group music video to surpass 1.1 billion.
