The song “SOLO” of BLACKPINK’s Jennie has hit a new record!
On July 28 at approximately 4:20 a.m. KST, the “SOLO” music video surpassed 500 million views on YouTube. “SOLO,” which was released on November 12, 2018, was Jennie’s debut as a solo artist, and took about 1 year, 8 months, and 15 days to reach the milestone.
This is the first time that a female K-pop soloist has accomplished this feat.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is gearing up for the second part of their three-part comeback plan with a new single in August.
