Meanwhile, BLACKPINK released their first full-length album, "THE ALBUM", on October 2. Simultaneously, they released the music video of "Lovesick Girls" on YouTube. The song topped the iTunes song chart in 57 regions and swept the iTunes song charts in European countries, such as France, Greece, Portugal, Norway, and many more.
"Lovesick Girls" also ranked first in Asia, including China, Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand.
The official MV impressively surpassed 60 million views within 24 hours after its release. BLACKPINK's YouTube subscribers also increased by over 700,000 in a day.
