The top 3 of this month's brand reputation rankings for singers is still the same as last month, but their order has had a big change.

On the morning of August 23, the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation announced the results of the brand reputation rankings for Korean singers for this month. The rankings are determined through the process of analyzing the frequency of active participation, media coverage, social media index and community awareness of singers (both idol groups and solo artists) in the Korean music industry, with 167,302,895 data collected from July 22 to August 22, 2020.

As the results show, after more than 1 year of domination, BTS had to leave the top. The group that has stopped BTS's winning streak is BLACKPINK, with a total brand reputation index of 17,480,886 (an increase of 54.98% compared to July). Meanwhile, the Big Hit's boy group fell to 2nd place with a total brand reputation index of 16,410,548 (an increase of 35.21% compared to July). Lim Young Woong - winner of 'Mister Trot' contest, fell to the 3rd place this month after receiving a total brand reputation index of 12,257,963 (a slight increase of 7.28% from July).
