The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for male idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various boy groups, using big data collected from July 7 to August 7.
BTS topped the list for the 27th consecutive month with a brand reputation index of 8,924,775 for August. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Billboard,” “Dynamite,” and “Oricon,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “surpass,” “launching,” and “donate.” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 83.55 percent positive reactions.
EXO took second place in this month’s rankings with a brand reputation index of 2,523,066, while SEVENTEEN came in third with a total index of 1,783,082.
Finally, NCT and SF9 rounded out the top five for August at fourth and fifth places respectively.
