Kim Soo Hyun and Oh Jung Se, who meet as brothers in "It's Okay to Not Be Okay", have talked about playing siblings in the upcoming drama.
It's Okay to Not Be Okay will tell the love story between Moon Kang Tae, a community health worker at a psychiatric ward, and Go Moon Young, a children fairy tale writer with anti-social personality disorder. And Oh Jung Se will be Moon Sang Tae, who is Moon Kang Tae's older brother and has autism spectrum disorder.
Kim Soo Hyun and Oh Jung Se rely on each other to share a bond that is stronger than anything else. Kim Soo Hyun said, "My chemistry with Oh Jung Se is definitely perfect. He always focuses on the character even when the shot doesn't turn, and I find myself automatically calling him my older brother. I really like that".
Oh Jung Se also replied, "Kim Soo Hyun is an actor who can't feel any vacuum at all. The more we film, the more I feel that I'm acting with a really good actor". The actor also expressed, "I actually don't have any brothers, so I thought it would be difficult but once we got started, a lot of good emotions have built up working with Kim Soo Hyun".
At an online production presentation held on the 10th, Oh Jung Se also said, "I thought it would be difficult because I don't have any brothers, but I had a lot of invisible emotions while filming together with Kim Soo Hyun".
Kim Soo Hyun and Oh Jung Se, who are deeply immersed in each other's characters, will show the world's most affectionate brothers based on infinite affection and faith.
Kim Soo Hyun and Oh Jung Se's brother chemistry will be released on June 20 at 9PM KST in "It's Okay to Not Be Okay".
