On March 30, a source from C-JeS Entertainment told MBN Star that Kim Nam Gil is actively considering a casting offer for the new film 'Declaration of Emergency.'
In another news, one of the film's investors recently confirmed to Ilgan Sports that the film would postpone filming due to the current COVID-19 crisis.
Filming is initially scheduled to begin around March. The source said, the new filming schedule has not been determined. They plan to rearrange everything after seeing how the pandemic situation go. This has absolutely nothing to do with the cast.
'Declaration of Emergency' is a new film by Han Jae Rim (The Face Reader, The King) and the title refers to an aviation term used when the pilot faces an aircraft's abnormal operation during a disaster and needs an emergency landing.
C-JeS Entertainment, the film's co-production company, has confirmed that Song Kang Ho and Lee Byung Hun will be participating in the movie. Jeon Do Yeon was previously reported to be in negotiations to join the film, and while her company has yet to confirm the news, she is still listed as a member of the cast on the movie site Naver.
Kim Nam Gil recently starred in the excellent film 'Closet' in February 2020, and is currently filming the debut movie of actor Jung Woo Sung, named 'Guardian'.
