IU, SNSD YoonA, Lee Je Hoon, Oh Jung Se, and Lee Jung Eun have been chosen as honorary judges for the 19th Mise en scene Short Film Festival, which will be held online this year in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Mise en scène Short Film Festival has fostered an interest in short films over the years as well as been a platform for the discovery of new talents in Korean film. This year, the five honorary judges will each be reviewing films from one of the following genres: social impact (IU), melodrama (Oh Jung Se), comedy (YoonA), horror/fantasy (Lee Jung Eun), and action/thriller (Lee Je Hoon).
The 19th Mise en scène Short Film Festival will be holding its opening ceremony on June 24 and will run until July 1. All programs from the festival will be aired on Mise-en-scene Short Film Festival’s Naver TV channel.
