Kim Yuna and Forestella member Ko Woo Rim first met when the latter sang at Kim Yuna’s “All That Sports” event. The two dated for three years before the couple announced their marriage in July 2022.
Kim Yuna is one of figure skating’s most decorated athletes ever. Known lovingly as Queen Yuna, she won the gold medal in the 2010 Olympics and won a controversial silver medal in the 2014 Olympics. The skater is also a two-time World Champion, a Four Continents Champion, a three-time Grand Prix Final Champion, and a six-time South Korean National Champion. Her dominance in figure skating is best represented by the fact that she was ranked in the top two for five consecutive years between 2006-2010, and her season’s best ranked first four times in a span of six years.
Ko Woo Rim is a member of the vocal quartet, Forestella. The singer is highly accomplished, winning six awards in various singing competitions between 2014 and 2017, including winning first in the Sungjung 23rd National Competition. The singer is also a graduate of the highly prestigious Seoul University.
