Little Mix's Jade Thirwall has candidly discussed the struggles she has faced in lockdown in an emotional poem. The singer shared the piece, called Lockdown Word Vomit, in which she revealed she had drunk 18 bottles of wine during her time in isolation and turned to CBD oil to deal with anxiety,
Jade, 27, wrote: ''I lay awake overthinking, plagued with anxiety through the night. I read books.'' ''Hug crystals. CBD oil and hot baths and place lavender on every pillow hoping to soothe my frantic mind.''
Jade Thirwall continues and even questions whether she knows who she really is as a person. She said: ''Does anyone like me for who I am or WHO I am? Am I enough? F*** it.''
She adds that she is feeling guilty for enjoying a slower pace of life in lockdown and writes: ''Feeling guilty for being glad for the change of routine. House parties and quizzes and cooking classes and skype."
Jade will be keeping busy during lockdown by hosting a brand new MTV cooking show where she will virtually invite drag queens to join her while she cooks dinner.
The show, which will run for six episodes, will see world-famous drag queens such as Alyssa Edwards, The Vivienne and Courtney Act. The Black Magic singer will also be joined by Queer Eye's Tan France and the Spice Girls' Mel C.
