Kelly Clarkson has filed for divorce from her husband of nearly seven years, talent manager Brandon Blackstock, The Blast reported on Thursday. She filed to end her marriage on June 4.

Clarkson, 38, and Blackstock, 43 have been married in October 2013 and are co-parent of two kids: River Rose, 5, and Remington Alexander, 4. Surprisingly, Kelly Clarkson shared on her talk show in May that she wanted to have more children. However, her husband Blackstock didn’t share the same feeling with her, as he also has kids Savannah and Seth with ex Melissa Ashworth.

The couple recently put their $10 million California mansion on the market. She previously listed her Tennessee home for $7.5 million. Kelly filed official documents ending their marriage in Los Angeles last week.

Kelly complained her Montana mansion was left freezing when the pipes packed up in March, leaving her and the kids stranded as the coronavirus pandemic meant she couldn't reach a plumber.

She tweeted: "So our plumbing froze up at our little cabin in Montana and, no joke, I just used my toddler's potty.

"And just like that I have no pride or shame! Each day brings something I thought I'd never do hahahaha."

Her hard times ended a week when the Billboard Music Awards - which she was going to host - also fell victim because of the pandemic and had to be delayed.

The pair previously spoke about completing their family after Kelly gave birth to Remy in 2016 - and insisted she wouldn't put herself through a difficult pregnancy again.

"Oh, no, we are done. Oh good Lord, yes, I can't be pregnant again," she laughed at the time.

"This will be our number four total, so we're good ... Honestly, the first one was really rough, and I was like, 'Oh, it can't happen again,' and no it happened, like, way worse this time."
