Mom of Ed Sheeran, Imogen Sheeran has shut down her business - selling jewellery linked to her famous son - amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Imogen Sheeran, 60, creates Liquorice Allsorts necklaces and bracelets, based on ones Ed, 29, has worn, which are sported now by his famous fans, such as Courteney Cox.
But while followers of Ed have always been keen collectors of Imogen's trinkets, she has had to cease trading until later this year, as she cannot keep on top of the orders amid the UK's current pandemic restrictions according to The Sun.
"Due to COVID-19 our online shop is closed until later in the year. Thank you for your continued support," a note on her website read, as reports the publication.
Although, at the time of writing, the website itself appears to have now been removed entirely. MailOnline has approached reps of Ed's for comment.
While it might not seem a financial tragedy given that her son has officially been named as the UK's richest musician under the age of 30 in recent weeks when he saw his wealth soar by another £40 million in 2019, according to the Sunday Times Rich List, making him worth over £200 million, Imogen was not in it for personal gain. She started to make the items to sell at Ed's concerts before he was famous.
"I started making jewellery after the funding was cut for a youth arts programme I was working for," Imogen said in 2011. "I made some Liquorice Allsorts bracelets for Ed, to start with, and they went down very well."
The collection also features jewellery based on Jaffa Cakes, Smarties, Marmite jars and Shrimp Chews. Ed is currently on hiatus from the music world, taking a break after completing his record-breaking Divide Tour and marrying his childhood sweetheart Cherry Seaborn, 28.
Second on the illustrious list is Harry Styles, followed by Niall Horan in third place, Louis Tomlinson in fifth place, and Liam Payne and Zayn Malik in sixth and seventh places.
Pop group Little Mix are fourth and Sam Smith is eight. Stormzy, with a wealth of £20million, is in ninth place alongside Rita Ora.
Dua Lipa and Goerge Ezra are both in 11th place with £16million each. Pop star Rihanna has burst in to the top of the charts as Britain’s third-richest musician overall – thanks to her line of raunchy lingerie and a move to London.
