Demi Lovato played as Dani on season five of Glee, who was the love interest of Naya Rivera's character Santana Lopez.
After Naya Rivera went missing in a boat trip with her 4-year-old son, Josey, an investigation searching for the actress has been done even with just a bit of hope to find her.
And on Monday, after Rivera's body was confirmed to be found at Lake Piru five days after she disappeared.

This was a heartbreaking news not only to Glee's fans but everyone who know of the actress.
Demi Lovato has recently reflected on the 33-year-old's 'groundbreaking' character and their time they were working together in the hit show.
Sharing throwback photos of her and Naya on Instagram, the Stone Cold singer wrote "I’ll forever cherish the opportunity to play your girlfriend on Glee."
"RIP Naya Rivera," she added. "The character you played was groundbreaking for tons of closeted queer girls (like me at the time) and open queer girls, and your ambition and accomplishments were inspiring to Latina women all over the world."

Lovato then sent her condolences to Rivera's family, continuing: "My heart goes out to your loved ones at this time.."
Demi made her appearance in the Fox show for 6 episodes as Santana's girlfriend.
When the missing news was busted, Dami asked fans for the hope that her mother-of-one friend would be found alive and safe, writing "Please pray for @nayarivera to be found safe and sound."
The co-stars in Glee, including Chris Colfer and Jane Lynch paid tribute to Naya's pass, alongside Pretty Little Liars star Janel Parrish, wrote: "Rest In Peace and power, Naya".
