On February 28, SPOTV News reported that Zico’s new boy group will make their debut in May.
In response to the report, an official from Zico’s agency KOZ Entertainment shared, “We are gearing up for [the boy group’s debut in] the first half of this year. The exact debut date will be revealed after it is confirmed.”
Last November, Zico expressed his confidence about his upcoming boy group at the 2022 HYBE Briefing with the Community. At the time, Zico said, “The specific concept [of the group] is ambiguous to say. They will become a group that will present music which both the general public and fans can all enjoy.”
Zico debuted as a member of Block B in 2014 and has been active as the team’s main producer. After parting ways with Block B’s agency Seven Seasons, Zico has been working as a solo artist and producer. He introduced many hit songs including “Any Song” in 2021 and “New thing” in 2022.
