On January 10, KBS2’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Let’s Get Grabbed by the Collar” (literal title) revealed its cast lineup including Kim Ha Neul, Yeon Woo Jin, and Jang Seung Jo.
Based on a popular web novel, “Let’s Get Grabbed by the Collar” will follow the story of Seo Jung Won, an investigative reporter who is accused of murder and must search for the truth to get out of her predicament.
Kim Ha Neul, who was previously confirmed to star in the drama, takes on the role of reporter Seo Jung Won, who is also the host of the current affairs television program “Let’s Get Grabbed by the Collar.” Thanks to her unique and straightforward way of exposing all kinds of torts committed by culprits while making sarcastic remarks, Seo Jung Won gains great popularity and attracts the general public’s attention.
Yeon Woo Jin plays Kim Tae Heon, an ace detective in the Violent Crimes team. Tae Heon, who once loved Jung Won passionately in the past, reunites with her through a mysterious murder case and faces a whirlwind of emotions.
Jang Seung Jo portrays Jung Won’s husband Seol Woo Jae, who is a second-generation chaebol and novelist. Woo Jae appears to be perfect on the outside, but he is empty and dark on the inside. Woo Jae, who always believed that he would live a stable life with his wife, begins to feel cracks in his life due to a series of events.
“Let’s Get Grabbed by the Collar” is set to premiere in March. Stay tuned for more updates!
