BTS is the K-Pop Artist Who Gained the Most Youtube Subscribers in May 2021
Snagging the number one spot on K-Pop Radar's Youtube subscribers monthly chart for May 2021 are worldwide superstars, BTS! According to K-Pop Radar, BTS's Youtube channel, BANGTANTV, gained a total of 2 million new Youtube subscribers in the month of May alone, and by the end of the month, BANGTANTV has a total of 50.9 million subscribers on their channel.
BANGTANTV was opened on December 17, 2012, less than a year before BTS made their official debut on June 13, 2013. The channel currently has 1,492 videos uploaded and has accumulated a total of 10,300,105,068 views in all of their videos.
In addition, each of BTS's videos accumulates an average of one million likes and more than 68,000 comments. Based on the group's average new subscribers (around 73,530), views (around 19,279,845), and videos (1) each day, it is projected that by July 1, 2021, BANGTANTV would be at 53,205,900 subscribers.

BLACKPINK is the Second K-Pop Artist Who Gained the Most Youtube Subscribers in May 2021
Coming in behind BTS is YG Entertainment's top girl group, BLACKPINK!
According to K-Pop Radar, BLACKPINK is the second K-Pop artist who gained the most Youtube subscribers in the month of May with their official Youtube channel, accumulating a million new subscribers and bringing in their total subscribers to 61.6 million, making them the most subscribed K-Pop artists on Youtube, followed by BTS.
BLACKPINK's Youtube channel was opened on June 28, 2016, a few months before the group's official debut on August 8, 2016. The group's channel currently has 365 videos uploaded and has accumulated a total of 17,838,941,658 views in all of their videos combined.
In addition, BLACKPINK reached the 60 million subscribers milestone on April 13, 2021, and averages 11.26 million views.
