Over 500 female K-pop idols were up for the title of "Most Beautiful Face," with nearly 200 selected as nominees. The rankings were determined through fan vote and by critic's choices. From the 200 K-pop stars nominated, only 100 female K-pop idols were able to make it to the list, with one reigning supreme.
The list was initially scheduled to be released by the end of 2020 but was ultimately postponed after a staff member of THE 100 contracted COVID-19. So, after months of hiatus, the organization is back and has made its grand return with the "Most Beautiful Faces of K-Pop" list.
