SEVENTEEN, Stray Kids, ENHYPEN, RIIZE, NewJeans, NCT 127, Jimin, (G)I-DLE, And NCT WISH Earn Circle Quintuple Million And Platinum Certifications
In 2018, the Korea Music Content Industry Association implemented a new certification system for album sales, song downloads, and online streaming. Starting with music released on or after January 1, 2018, Circle Chart now certifies albums platinum once they reach 250,000 sales, while albums that have sold a million copies or more receive a “million” certification.
This month, SEVENTEEN’s 2023 mini album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” earned a quintuple million certification for selling over 5 million copies since its release last year.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids’ latest mini album “ATE” earned a double million certification for over 2 million copies sold.
ENHYPEN earned two separate Circle certifications for their latest studio album “ROMANCE : UNTOLD.” The regular version of the album received a double million certification for over 2 million copies sold, while the Weverse version was certified double platinum for selling over 500,000 copies.
Both RIIZE’s recent mini album “RIIZING” and NewJeans’ Japanese single album “Supernatural” earned official million certifications for selling over 1 million copies each since their respective releases in June.
NCT 127’s latest album “WALK” was also certified triple platinum for over 750,000 copies sold.
Both BTS’s Jimin’s recent solo album “MUSE” and (G)I-DLE’s latest mini album “I SWAY” were certified double platinum for selling over 500,000 copies each since their respective releases in July.
Finally, NCT WISH’s latest single album “Songbird” was certified platinum for over 250,000 copies sold.
Congratulations to all of the artists!
