On October 31, Oricon announced that SEVENTEEN’s new mini album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” had debuted at No. 1 on its album chart for the week of October 23 to 29.
“SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” is SEVENTEEN’s seventh consecutive album—and their 11th overall—to top the chart, making SEVENTEEN the first foreign artist in Oricon history to reach No. 1 with 11 different albums.
Outside of Japan, “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” recently became the first album in Hanteo history to sell over 5 million copies in its first week. The mini album’s title track, “God of Music,” also hit No. 1 on various Korean realtime music charts—including Melon, Genie, and Bugs—shortly after its release.
Congratulations to SEVENTEEN on their historic achievement!
