According to an exclusive media outlet report on February 3, LOONA members HyunJin and Vivi have officially filed to nullify their exclusive contracts with BlockBerry Creative, just after the court gave divided rulings on similar cases involving the rest of the girl group members.

According to JTBC News, HyunJin and Vivi share similar contracts as fellow members HeeJin, Kim Lip, JinSoul, and Choerry, whose exclusive contracts were successfully nullified by the court earlier in January. Unlike these four, the court ruled against members HaSeul, YeoJin, Yves, Go Won, and Olivia Hye, which means they still remain bound to their original exclusive contracts. JTBC News claims that the latter five members' contracts remain tied to the agency due to a side contract which the company offered all of the LOONA members at the end of 2021.

Meanwhile, former LOONA member Chuu initially went to court against BlockBerry Creative in late 2021 on the basis of unfair division of costs and fees. After the court ruled in favor of Chuu, the idol was given liberty to adjust her exclusive contract on her own terms. Then, in October of 2022, Chuu was removed from LOONA after filing for the nullification of her contract.
