On August 6, the popular romantic comedy starring 2PM’s Lee Junho and Girls’ Generation’s YoonA ended on the highest viewership ratings of its entire run. According to Nielsen Korea, the series finale of “King the Land” scored an average nationwide rating of 13.8 percent, marking a new personal record for the drama.
Meanwhile, TV Chosun’s “Durian’s Affair” also soared to its highest ratings yet last night. With just one week left in its run, the fantasy romance earned a nationwide average of 7.2 percent ahead of its final two episodes.
tvN’s “The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch,” which airs in a similar time slot to “Durian’s Affair,” maintained its average nationwide rating of 4.8 percent from the night prior for its fourth episode.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “The Real Has Come!” continued its reign as the most-watched program of Sunday, scoring an average nationwide rating of 22.8 percent for the night.
